The problem

Most reps are never watched.

Good coaching shouldn't depend on what your family can afford. Coaches juggle practices, games and work outside the field. Reviewing every player's film takes time they don't always have. We're building RepRead to help them turn more of those reps into useful feedback.

2 sports

Starting with baseball and softball, focused on pitching and batting.

Where we start

$0

What players will pay. Coaches cover the team.

Planned pricing

1–2 pointers

The goal for each rep: focused feedback and a drill a coach can review.

Product goal

The planned workflow

Film it. Read it. Fix it.

  1. 01

    Film

A player or coach records a rep on any phone. No sensors, no special camera, no setup.

  2. 02

    Read

RepRead tracks the body's movement frame by frame and measures the mechanics: angles, timing, sequence.

  3. 03

    Fix

Claude turns the numbers into one or two clear pointers and a drill, written the way a good coach talks.

The product

One app for the whole team.

Our product vision: coaches get the roster, players get the pointers. These previews show what we're building toward.

For coaches

Your assistant coach for every rep.

Coach Who should lead off against lefties?

RepRead Okafor. He's reached base in 9 of 17 trips against lefties this year (.529 OBP), the best on the roster, and his swing reads have improved four weeks running.

  • Roster view. Every player's latest pointers in one place.
  • Weekly team report. Who improved, who slipped, what to drill this week.
  • Stat questions in plain English. Ask it like you'd ask an assistant.

Firm up the front leg

Your front knee is still bending at release. Push into a firm front side and let your legs throw the ball.

  • Instant pointers. One or two things to fix, right after the rep.
  • Compare to your best rep. Side by side, frame matched.
  • Track your progress. See the season add up, rep by rep.

Why it works

From measurements to a useful pointer.

A joint angle needs context. We plan to use Claude to turn movement measurements and a coach's notes into clear, encouraging pointers and suggested drills.

We're starting tests on real phone video. The examples here are illustrative.

Written · for the player

Firm up the front leg.

Your knee is still bending as you let go, about 22° softer than your best rep. Land, then push into a firm front side so your legs throw the ball, not just your arm.
